Freeman is seeking a **Manager of Video Services** to work with the Event Operations team in the planning and coordination of video requirements and resources\. Provides leadership and develops standards and training for video personnel in the Dallas branch as well as overseeing system design and construction\.

Additional duties include:

+ Manages the activities of Video Services personnel\.
+ Evaluates the competency of Video staff to ensure that FAV quality standards are maintained, and develops video training programs to improve companys staff competency levels\.
+ Conducts performance reviews of Video staff within the Dallas branch in accordance with The Freeman Companies personnel policies\.
+ Oversees the recruiting and evaluation of part time video technicians\.
+ Oversees the scheduling of Video personnel to ensure company resources are used effectively and they follow company procedures and employee policies\.
+ Promotes motivation, communication, teamwork and positive attitude between all personnel and costumers\.
+ Reviews operational procedures within the Video department and make recommendations for improvements to enhance operational efficiencies\.
+ Oversees the review of equipment logistics to ensure that company resources are used effectively and cross\-rentals are minimized\.
+ Oversees designs to ensure quality and cost effective video systems and oversee the scheduling and planning of their construction\.
+ Researches and recommends CAP X video purchases for the company that will keep us current with industry standards and reduce our cross rentals in order to maximize profitability\.
+ Partners with Sales in preparing video bids when needed to ensure proper specifying of equipment and labor\.
+ Performs show site duties for high profile or technically complicated events when required\.
+ Assists other department heads as needed\.
+ Performs other duties as assigned\.
+ Minimum five years operational experience
+ Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical journals, equipment specifications and financial reports\.
+ Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from employees, customers, or regulatory agencies\.
+ Ability to write training programs and articles for publications that conform to prescribed style and format\.
+ Ability to effectively adjust presentation style to a variety of audiences, i\.e\. top management, technicians, or clients\.
+ Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and plane geometry\.
+ Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations\.
+ Ability to relate and conduct theoretical discussions as applicable to specific technical topics\.
+ Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form\.
+ Ability to deal with problems quickly and effectively\.
+ Ability to clearly instruct and demonstrate the set up and operation of high\-end video, equipment\.
+ Ability to communicate in person or over the phone how to perform various equipment related operation\.
+ High School or Diploma or GED
+ Minimum 2 years of managerial experience
+ Vectorworks experience
+ Bachelor's Degree
