$195,000

The 1958 factory fuel - injected Bonneville is arguably one of the rarest of all General Motors vehicles ever to be produced. This particular piece is in all-original condition, save and except for one repaint back to its original Redwood Copper.
With this model being a candidate for the first true Pontiac muscle car, Bonneville buyers got considerable power for their money. The base engine consisted of a 370-cid, 255-hp V-8 with a Carter four-barrel carburetor and standard 3-speed manual transmission - or 285hp with the optional Super Hydramatic automatic. Upgrade options included Rochester fuel injection or a Tri-Power setup consisting of three Carter two-barrel carburetors, 10.5:1 compression heads, and a performance camshaft.  The fuel-injected option delivered 310 HP, and Tri-Power yielded 300 HP.
Of the two engine upgrade options, the Tri-Power was far more popular due to its cost of just under $100, while the factory fuel-injection option would set a buyer back $500.  The most significant and highly innovative mechanical wonder was the fuel injection:  the Rochester mechanical fuel injection remained a high-end performance option like the year before, but because the system had been revised it now produced 310 hp.
This particular piece is one of only a handful of 1958 Fuel-Injected Bonnevilles left known to exist, and has been released from the personal collection of a very noteworthy individual in the Car Collecting hobby.
Aside from factory fuel-injection, features also include power steering, power brakes, Circulare heater and defroster, dual back-up lamps, deluxe Wonder Bar radio with electric antenna, single rear speaker, lamp group, mirror group, Deluxe steering wheel, instrument panel cushion, and the ultra-rare inside sliding sun visor (original visors accompany the car).  The build sheet is located in the door panel, and a photo thereof is available for inspection.  This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a incredibly rare piece of automotive history.
